IT Support (South Charlotte)

We are seeking a technically savvy, experienced administrator who collaborates well in a team environment, loves to take on new challenges, and will provide excellent support to our internal and external clients.

As IT Support, you will be part of a team that uses leading technologies to develop, implement, and support systems for a growing digital signage company with thousands of customers from retail stores to sports stadiums. It will be your job to own and support internal IT systems, and provide advanced technical support for external clients.

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills

  • Sysadmin knowledge of Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux

  • Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

  • Capable of seeing multiple tasks of varied involvement to completion

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Passion for and curiosity about technology

Pluses, But Not Required

  • Professional A/V experience

  • AWS experience

  • Android troubleshooting

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of existing infrastructure, computer, networking, server, and storage systems for ~40 users

    • Computer : ~40 Windows PCs not on domain, ~10 Macs

    • Networking: Cisco SG and Ubiquiti

    • Phones: IP hard and soft phones through RingCentral

    • Server: Homegrown systems with Ubuntu and VMs

    • Storage: FreeNAS

  • Provide 2nd line technical support for external, technical customers

  • Assist hardware development, QA, and growth projects

  • Available for rotating shift work outside standard business hours
